Dr. Rice’s favorite part of optometry is getting to know patients. Whether your hobbies include keeping cozy with a new book or being adventurous outdoors, she always enjoys learning more about how you use your eyes on a daily basis to optimize your eye health and vision!

She has a passion for keeping up with the latest research on how lifestyle habits such as exercise, nutrition, and stress management can improve ocular health outcomes. Dr. Rice is fluent in Spanish, making it easier for her to connect with and care for our Spanish-speaking patients.

Dr. Rice is a real townie! She was raised in Marlborough and Keene and attended Keene State College for her undergraduate degree. She attended the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences for her doctoral degree in optometry. She now lives in Keene with her partner, George Hansel, and two cats, Betty and Sampson.

Outside clinic hours, you can find Dr. Rice digging in her flower garden or stand-up paddleboarding around New Hampshire.
